An initiative of the President of the DRC, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who is also the current President of the African Union, in collaboration with the AU Commission, the President of the ELCOS Foundation, who has been an activist against violence against women in the DRC for more than 20 years, was granted an audience with the Senegalese President Macky Sall.
Odiane LOKAKO Felber presented to President Macky Sall the actions carried out by her foundation and in particular its projects for the reintegration of women who have been raped or displaced by war in agricultural projects.
After this plea on behalf of the women of Eastern Congo, the President assured her of his support and pledged to develop this model with her during his next term as President of the African Union.
